Meet the trainer

Like so many others, my love for dogs began as a child which quickly grew into a passion.  At the age of 16 I began training with law enforcement canine teams.  I have been dedicated to working with dogs, both personal and law enforcement ever since.   I have been a law enforcement officer for over 20 years and handled law enforcement canines for over 15 of those.  Being an accredited Master Trainer for the North American Police Work Dog Association has afforded me the opportunity to travel North America and train with canines from all across the world.

Working with dogs goes well beyond just working with the dog.  My passion comes from working with both the dog and dog owner.  For me it's about helping people understand their dogs and the potential of what your sacred bond could be with your dog.  I've seen too many families get rid of their dog and the pain and heartbreak it caused.  All because, "She couldn't be house trained", "He jumped on or nipped people", "Couldn't be trusted" and the list goes on.  All of which could have been prevented or modified if the owner had the knowledge, knew where to get the knowledge, or engaged the services from someone who has the experience and the knowledge to bring about a positive behavioral outcome.

 

If you find a trainer who claims to know everything or guarantees anything, then please find someone else.  I am dedicated to your success, regardless if it is with me or from someone else.  I have not trained a single dog or single owner and not learned something myself.  Ultimately, I enjoy seeing the pride you have in your dog and the pride you have in yourself for what you have accomplished with the positive change between you and your companion.
